Back and forth across Puget Sound on the Washington State Ferry "Walla Walla"
We say, "when you've seen one Walla, you've seen 'em both!"
This car is a flirt!
Anthony and I got a lot of attention in this beauty, even from the rental people who advised us not "to do anything I wouldn't do!" and seemed really amazed that anyone would rent such a car.
On the way to the waterfront, we attracted the notice of a couple of guys riding in a '64 Mustang convertible who offered to trade, and when got to the terminal to pay the fee, the attendant was obviously impressed, and was all set to go for a ride.
And ... I have to tell you, she didn't believe my age when I asked for the over-65 discount!
While riding the ferry we heard a car alarm honking and I thought, "what an idiot!", until I heard the PA announcer say, "there's a yellow Mustang convertible with its alarm going off."
It actually took multiple trips to the auto deck to get it silenced because it was the ferry's vibration that was shaking it into action. I finally realized, with the help of a fellow passenger, that all I had to do was unlock it!
